We inhabit old buildings or buildings awaiting development and transform them into Performance Spaces, Theatres, Art Galleries and Music venues, anything you can imagine. We are currently located at 17 - 23 Wills St, Melbourne and are the unofficial alternative hub for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. We have been operating for five years and have been home to hundreds of shows across various renewed sites for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Melbourne Fringe Festival and the Adelaide Fringe Festival. We have a strong focus on programming, on supporting our artists and on meaningful urban renewal. Come down and have a drink and a laugh with us this Comedy Festival.
We Are a Community-Focused Venue
We are a community-run and community focused enteprise. We are mostly staffed by volunteers. We provide a friendly, welcoming environment for artists, festival-goers, supporters-of-the-arts and the broader community. Come down and say hello any time.
